Jason Jutson Joins the Sports Media Course by Tim Racek

The twenty-one year old Sports Management major needs this class to keep him on a good pace for a graduation in 2012. He is a product of Bel Air high School in Bel Air, Maryland. For the Bobcats, he was a three year varsity letter winner for baseball and a two year letter winner for football. He earned two first team all-county awards in baseball and one in football. He was also named second team all-state for baseball in his junior year of high school.

After high school he decided to continue his education at Community College Baltimore County at Dundalk in the general studies field while also continuing his athletic career on the baseball field. After two years at Dundalk, Jutson transferred to Wilmington University to further his baseball career. He has a strong work ethic along with leadership skills and a strong will to succeed. Those qualities paired with the mentality of a DB allow the student-athlete to excel in the classroom and on the diamond. Jutson plans to take his education from Wilmington University and more specifically the Sports Management Department and become a teacher and a coach at the highest level possible.
