Wood Joins SPM 305

Lifelong Delawarean, Daniel Wood is looking forward to developing his sports media of relations skill In SPM 305. Wood chooses to stay local and selected Wilmington University as his college of study. Wood, born and raised in New Castle, Delaware, attended high school at Hodgson Vo Tech where he graduated in 2008, where he played all four years of high school varsity baseball.  Wood’s junior year of high school he was named 2nd team all conference (Flight B) and senior year was named 2nd team All-State. Off the field,   “D.J” kept a 3.2 G.P.A throughout all four years of high school. The sports management major continues to play the game he loves, baseball. The 5’11’ 160 lb wood plays center field. With two years of college baseball under his belt, he believes he can become a key contributor to the team this year. After his years at Wilmington University, he would like to go on and become a professional scout for the Atlanta Braves; or do another job with the organization.
