Jonathan Rodriguez joins SPM 305 by Daniel Wood

New Jersey native Jonathan Rodriquez joins SPM 305, as he develops interest in the Sports Management careers. J-Rod was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, where he was one of four children. He is the middle child to go along with one sister and two brothers. His family is Puerto Rican and Columbian, which then makes his favorite food rice, beans, and chicken.
As this boy grew into a 5’11” man, Jonathan attended St. Anthony’s High School in Jersey City. There, he not only excelled on the baseball field, but also on the hardwood. In each year he attended, he started in both sports.
At Wilmington, the versatile middle infielder has been a one year starter playing both second base and shortstop and the redshirt sophomore is ready for this upcoming year. Tuto said, “Being able to come to a University like this makes me energized, everyone here brings a lot of intensity and that’s what I like.” Now with Jon here for 3 more years, he hopes he can succeed not only on the baseball field, but within this career as well.
