Joe Harbach Added to Sports Media Relations Lineup by Clark Hoffman

I am pleased to present SPM 305, Sports Media Relations with yet another interesting addition to our student body.  Maryland’s finest, Joseph Harbach, will accompany us on our journey to study the media’s relationship with today’s sports.  Harbach, a 20 year old athlete, was born and raised in Abingdon, MD.
At 6’2’’ and 187 lbs, Harbach has always had the build to play college sports, yet recently added the motivation this past year while transferring to Wilmington University, chasing the dream of any professional baseball player.  While attending Edgewood High School he was a duel athlete, earning varsity letters four years in both baseball and basketball.
As the youngest child in a successful, competitive family, Harbach has always felt hard work was the key ingredient in making something for himself.  His mother, Marnie, and father, Perry, are both teachers at the high school and middle school level.
Noticing his parent’s happiness and achievement, one day he too hopes to get a job at a school or university as a facilities manager or Athletic Director.
