Tim Racek Joins Sports Media Relations Class by Jason Jutson

Timothy Racek is attending the Sports Media Relations class at Wilmington University in pursuit of a degree in Sports Management. The Wilmington University freshman previously attended Roman Catholic High School in downtown Philadelphia. Racek earned a 3.8 GPA.

The 18 year old pitcher brings with him an athletic mindset, having for the baseball team and the hockey team in high school. During his four year high school career, Racek was a four year letter winner with hockey, as well as three years with the Cahillites on the diamond.  This young athlete was recruited by the Wilmington Wildcats baseball team.

The natural leader captained won 1st team All American honors in both sports. This young man is well organized and works hard to meet his goals. Racek hopes to use these skills, as well as this class and his degree to propel him into a career working for a large professional sports organization.
